LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) – A new kind of neighborhood is coming to Leon County.
It’s being called an “agri-hood”, and it will be the first of its kind in north Florida.
Pine Dove Farm will blend a rural lifestyle with close access to the city.
The development in southeastern Leon County is off Williams Road and has 200 acres.
The “planned agricultural community” has a garden as the centerpiece of the subdivision.
The premise is a community built around nature where residents help conserve the land.
There’s an acre and a half of farmland for fresh produce. Residents are encouraged to get involved.
Homes start under $300,000, and sits on half-acre lots.
